Finals Week

Today is my last day of school. I just turned in my final portfolio in my Color Theory class. What a relief that feels. For 4 weeks, I don't have to worry about any projects and designs that take most of my time. This winter break, I will take my time to relax and watch new release films in the theater. Speaking of films, I can't wait to watch the last installment of The Lord of the Rings - Return of the King. I had been looking forward for the day of its theatrical release. Unfortunately tonight, I won't be able to watch it because I have to work. But tomorrow is the day. I have heard so much about it and it just won New York Film Critics Award Film of the Year.

2 more weeks before Christmas

14 more days of shopping and its Christmas. Christmas is really over rated. Sometimes we forget the true meaning of Christmas and the holiday is replaced by shopping and sports. This is the time when we get together with our family and go to church together.

What a night!

The gallery opening had a great turnout. This was my first gallery opening and I could speak for myself that this evening was a successful one. People really like the theme of the show and the diversity of the artwork. People like the different ideas and different point of views of the artists. I have learned so much from this opening. Cyndi's video was awesome too. I really like how she put the heartbeat filters on the video. The pulses makes you think creatively and it makes you think how much life is worth and how we need to relax and enjoy what we have in this planet. And of course, enjoy all the different artworks too.

I really appreciate all the people that came and see the show. I want to thank Joan again for organizing this show. You are such a talented superwoman. I also want to thank Mary, Diane, James, and Adam for making this opening a successful one.

Here are the latest photos from the opening:
